Castellan · Leadership

An operator team, not a paper company.

Castellan is led by people who have built and operated power and compute infrastructure for a decade. Several come from the Bitkern Group and bring its operating experience — grid connections, data-centre construction, 24/7 operations — to developing, building and leasing data centres for AI.

01
The team

A decade of power and compute operations.

Every function that decides whether AI infrastructure actually gets delivered — power, construction, commercial, legal, finance and IT — is led by someone who has done it before, most of them at the Bitkern Group in Switzerland, Austria and the United States.

Stefan Kern
CEO & Chairman · Founder, Bitkern Group

Founder of the Bitkern Group; leads Castellan's strategy and development. A decade operating power and compute infrastructure at scale in Switzerland, Austria and the United States.

Henning Peter

Customer acquisition and lease structuring for powered shell and turnkey data centres. Commercial strategy for hyperscale, sovereign-cloud and regulated AI workloads on long-term triple-net leases.

Dr. Killian Schärli
Board Member · Legal

Andrew McKinney
Head of Operations · USA

Site delivery and commissioning in the United States. A decade operating multi-megawatt power and compute facilities with the Bitkern Group — from ground-break to ready for IT load.

Vanessa Lehner
Head of Finance

Finance and reporting for a fast-growing build programme — the financial discipline that makes Castellan a reliable long-term counterparty for its tenants, drawing on the Bitkern Group's operating experience.

Manuel Stich
Head of IT

02
Governance

Swiss governance, clear accountability.

Castellan Intelligence AG is a Swiss Aktiengesellschaft (stock corporation, Art. 620 ff. of the Swiss Code of Obligations) with its registered office in Zug.
